In fact, there are many gorgeous parks to enjoy at Mentor-On-The-Lake! The John R. McMinn Memorial Park is a wonderful park for you and your kids to enjoy, with playground equipment, baseball fields, a soccer field, and a basketball court. Andrews Road Field is a cute little spot with a nice, well-kept walking path as well as some baseball fields and playground equipment. Overlook Beach Park, however, might just be your go-to if you’re looking for a combination of all of these, with a nice, open field, plenty of playground equipment, a basketball court, a gazebo, and a wood deck with a perfect look over Lake Erie.
Naturally, there are plenty of attractions you’ll come to love if you’re a fan of the water, as well. Mentor Harbor has more than enough room to keep your boat safely docked for the season, with the Mentor Harbor Yacht Club a short distance away. Even if you don’t have a boat, you can still enjoy a fun day at the beach with friends and family. But whether you’re a beach lover or a boater, you won’t be disappointed if you’re looking for a cozy spot to cast a line and reel in some fish.
